This is an original sand cast key hook with a double flat ring made of solid brass, plated with real silver. Most plating finishes are about 1 micron thick, but our plating has a thick silver layer of over 10 microns. After silver plating, each hook is special stone-polished, giving it a subtle, vintage look, and deep silver finish. Each piece is plated using a hanging method at a family-run plating company in Tokyo, founded in 1954.
It can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth—a special cloth made for silver, not just any fabric. For a brighter shine, you can polish it yourself. Over time, it will naturally develop the color and patina of real silver, which can be easily maintained with the cloth.
Comes with a wax paper envelope.
