This is a silver-plated, handmade bangle made from a 5mm solid square brass rod.

Each bangle is cut, shaped, and finished by hand, with a hammered texture added to the surface. The round version has larger marks along the line, while this square version has finer marks across it, giving it a sharper look. “Tsuchime” means a hand-hammered pattern in Japanese.

The piece is crafted by an independent metal craftsman in Hokkaido, Japan, and then finished in Tokyo at a family-run plating workshop. It is coated with a thick 10-micron layer of real, nickel-free silver plating. A stone-washed finish is applied to give it a soft vintage look with a deep silver tone.

Each one is individually engraved with “Kobashi” in Japanese katakana as a mark of authenticity.

Since it is coated with real silver, you can clean it with a silver polishing cloth. Over time, it will naturally develop the color and patina of real silver, which can be easily maintained with regular care.

Each item comes with a handmade suede pouch made from Japanese tanned pig leather.
