This is a silver-plated, handmade bangle made from a 5mm solid brass round rod.

Each bangle is cut, shaped, and finished by hand, with a hammered texture added to the surface. “Tsuchime” means a hand-hammered pattern in Japanese.

The piece is crafted by an independent metal craftsman in Hokkaido, and then finished in Tokyo at a family-run plating workshop. It is coated with a thick 10-micron layer of real, nickel-free, silver plating. A stone-washed finish is applied to give it a soft vintage look with a deep silver tone.

Each one is individually engraved with “Kobashi” in Japanese katakana as a mark of authenticity.

Since it is coated with real silver, you can clean it with a silver polishing cloth. Over time, it will naturally develop the color and patina of real silver, which can be easily maintained with regular care. To keep its condition, we recommend removing it before showering or swimming.

Each item comes with a handmade suede pouch made from Japanese tanned pig leather.
