Silk-screen printed bandana made by a scarf company founded in Tokyo in 1918.
100% cotton, with the color penetrating through to the reverse side.
The color is the traditional Japanese khaki shade Rokoucha. It became popular when Kabuki actors wore it during the Edo period and has remained a favorite color in Japan for centuries.

The chrysanthemum in this design is a wild mountain chrysanthemum. It is inspired by a traditional Japanese pattern dating back over 400 years.
